Microsoft Exchange Backup

One of the standard features of the ez Remote Backup Client is the plugin for Microsoft Exchange databases. In the picture below you can see how this plugin appears in the client.

This plugin:

  • can take Hot backups of Microsoft Exchange databases (Exchange can keep on running while the backup is made)
  • is available MS Exchange 2000, 2003, 2007 and 2010 
  • uses the Microsoft Exchange API
  • take automated daily backups of Exchange.

Microsoft SQL Backups

Another stadard feature of the ez Remote Backup Client is the plugin for Microsoft SQL databases.

The possibilities of this plugin are:

  • Hot backup of Microsoft SQL databases (SQL Server kan stay running)
  • supported for MS SQLServer 2000 and 2005
  • Uses a method perscribed by Microsoft to take the backup 
  • Automatic (daily) backup schema’s of MS SQL databases
